Widgets
How do I add a widget to my Home Screen?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen until the icons jiggle. Tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for SquareCount. Pick a size and tap Add Widget. To choose which tracker it shows, touch and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget.
I tapped a button on the widget but the number didn't change.
iOS usually redraws the widget within a second. If it doesn't, open SquareCount once: your entry is saved, and the widget catches up.
How do I change the amounts on the buttons?
Open the tracker in the app and tap Edit. You can have up to three buttons, including one adjustable button whose amount you change with − and + right on the widget.
How do I see previous weeks on the widget?
On a medium or large widget, tap ‹ at the start of the button row. Each tap goes back a week. Tap This week to return; after ten minutes the widget returns to today by itself. This needs SquareCount Pro.
Your data
I logged the wrong amount. How do I fix it?
Open the tracker in the app. Tap an entry to change its amount or time, or swipe it to delete it. You can also tap a day in the calendar to jump to its entries.
How do I add something I forgot to log?
Open the tracker and tap the clock button at the top to add an entry at an earlier date and time.
How do I export my history?
In Settings, tap Export history as CSV and choose where to save or share the file.
Google Sheets backup
How do I turn on the backup?
In Settings, tap Google Sheets backup, then Connect Google account, and sign in. SquareCount creates a spreadsheet called "SquareCount Backup" in your Google Drive and copies your history into it. This needs SquareCount Pro.
How do I back up automatically?
In the Shortcuts app, open Automation, tap +, choose Time of Day, and add the action Back Up To Sheet from SquareCount. Set it to run immediately. It works without opening the app.
I reinstalled the app or got a new iPhone. How do I get my history back?
Connect the same Google account in Settings. SquareCount finds your existing backup and restores it. You can also tap Restore from sheet at any time; it only adds entries that are missing, so it never duplicates anything.
It says Google access expired or was revoked.
Tap Connect Google account again and sign in with the same account. Your spreadsheet is still there and the app will pick it up.
Pro
I bought Pro but the app doesn't show it.
Open Settings, tap Pro, then Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you bought it with. Pro is a one-time purchase and works on every iPhone signed in with that Apple ID.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
